SOROR MARY MCLEOD BETHUNE

Ms. Bethune was the founder of Bethune-Cookman College in Jacksonville, Florida. She was also founder and served as the first president of the National Council of Negro Women during the Depression-era. Many former U.S. Presidents appointed her to government positions during their terms.

Her latest venture is the upcoming "The Sheryl Lee Ralph Show", a daytime variety and talk show. However, she is also accomplished as a filmmaker, producer, actress, and philanthropist.

SOROR WILMA RUDOLPH

She was the first American woman to win 3 gold medals in a simple Olympiad. Prior to her death, she served at DePauw University as the Track Director and Special Consultant on Minority Affairs.

SOROR BETTY SHABAZZ

Widely known as the widow of Malcolm X, Ms.Shabazz is the director of communications and public relations for Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York.

SOROR NIARA SUDARSKA

Soror Sudarska became the first woman president of the oldest African-American college in America, Lincoln University. Prior to that appointment, she was the first Black woman to receive tenure at University of Michigan.

SOROR NANCY WILSON

Ms. Wilson is an accomplished ballad singer and has had over 30 albums on the Billboard charts, which have spawned a number of hit records. She had her own Emmy Award-winning TV series, "The Nancy Wilson Show".
