The Iota Eta Chapter at Texas Christian University was chartered on April 22, 1972.

There seven charter members are as follows:

The advisor was Matine A. Oliver, the Southwest Regional Director was Connie Darlee Maybea, and the National President was Lillian Pierce Benbow.

Today the chapter continues to uphold the principles of the founders and strives to put effort quality programs based upon the Five Point Thrust. Iota Eta continuously participates in and hosts many community service projects and activities. The ladies are also active on campus and use their skills and abilities to bring vision to other organizations as well.
